With over 10 years managing regulatory service teams and a further 6 years in product development and manufacturing, I bring a breadth of expertise in food labelling, technical services and team management. My role is to lead our compliance team, facilitating our advisors to deliver clear, compliant and confident advice in an efficient and friendly manner. I am a passionate believer in continuous improvement and committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Dr Janine Curll

Dr Janine Curll

I have a near 20-year history of providing exceptional regulatory, legal and compliance advice across food product development in the FMCG sector. I hold a PhD(law) in Australia's food regulatory compliance framework, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. I leverage deep knowledge of the Food Standards Code and Australian consumer laws to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for competitive marketing with labelling and advertising claims. I bring strong experience in EU/US food laws and in guiding international manufacturers to introduce products to the Australian market that meet manufacturers’ commercial and competitive needs. I'm a food fraud expert who has led domestic and international investigations, advising on prevention frameworks and I have also pioneered research in this emerging field and created regulatory education for commercial food producers and in international tertiary settings.

I have a Food Science degree (Nutrition & Food) with over 12 years of food industry experience across a broad range of products in both the retail and food manufacturing environments. With my experience and passion for food I enjoy helping businesses understand the complexities of regulatory compliance and feel privileged to be able to support the industry across categories.

Having a Food Science & Technology Master's degree, along with more than 12 years of experience in the food industry, I offer valuable assistance to companies in ensuring their products meet all legal requirements for food labelling. I am passionate about protecting consumers' health and well-being and take pride in helping businesses navigate the complex world of food regulations.

I have a degree in Life Sciences and Food Science Biotechnology with over 12+ years of experience in Food Regulatory & Quality in Australia. I am passionate about finding regulatory solutions and enjoy liaising with Government bodies, clients and manufacturers to help find effective, compliant solutions. I have a keen interest in additives, novel ingredients and understanding the components within complementary medicines and cosmetics.
Annesha Edyvane

Annesha Edyvane

With a B.Sc degree majoring in Biochemistry, Chemistry and a M.Sc degree in Food Science and Technology, I am blessed to use my passion for all things Food Science to assist the food industry in launching products with regulatory ease. I have 18+ years of experience in various food industry roles including Technical/ Quality Assurance, Research and Development & R&D and Regulatory. I work across a diverse portfolio of products including canned food, baby food, formulated supplementary foods, confectionery, dairy products, ready meals, alcohol and beyond. I live by the motto "If you love what you do, then you'll never work a day in your life".

I have been in the industry for over 11 years in various roles related to Food Safety and Compliance. From analytical food testing, manufacturing, compliance and food safety of import and distribution to now dedicated Food Regulatory Advice with Ashbury. With a degree (Hons) in Food Science and Nutrition, I embrace a challenge and proud to support and share my industry knowledge with our unique client base.
Tanya Madhagani

Tanya Madhagani

I'm a Food Regulatory Advisor at Ashbury with former Quality Assurance, Technical and Regulatory Compliance experience within major Australian food manufacturers and retailers. I have a M.Sc degree in Quality Management and have been in the industry for over 15 years. During this time, I've helped clients achieve product and label compliance, witting Food Safety Programs, risk management, manage withdrawals, recalls and consumer complaints investigation throughout diverse supply chains. I love that no two days are the same. There will always be something new to focus on and learn which drives my passion and empowers me to support my clients in delivering safe food to market.

I am the AU Operations Coordinator and the go-to person for all things admin. I hold a Masters Degree in Business Administration and have been working in Operations, Sales & Marketing across several industries for almost 10 years. I am excited by the challenges and insights gained into the world of Food Safety & Compliance, and immensely enjoy being able to build and grow relationships across our network of Partners and Stakeholders.
