Ensuring that the shelves remained full to meet customer demand was a key challenge for many retailers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Retailers had to source and approve new suppliers quickly, and the pressure was on to ensure that pack copy and artwork checks were made swiftly to ensure there were no hold ups in product delivery to the customer.
This well-known food retailer also faced the additional pressures of a key member of its regulatory team having to self-isolate due to coronavirus in their family. The client was left with an unexpected lack of resources, and many product lines requiring specification and artwork checks with short deadlines.
